Qualifications: B Com, Chartered Accountant, Registered Taxation Agent, Registered Company Auditor, Corporate Representative of SMSF Experts and Justice of the Peace (NSW).

Brett has been in practice since 1989 both as a Principal and Partner. He was with Surry Partners for some 25 years and recently moved and formed North Shore Accountancy Pty Ltd.

Prior to that, he was with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) for 8 years until 1987, where he gained his invaluable experience and professionalism with a ‘big six firm’ in taxation and auditing.

He travelled a lot with Coopers; this included spending over a year in the San Francisco office learning about US taxes and other various offices throughout Australia. He then left public practice and spent 2 years with a Public Company as the Finance Director/CFO in the late 1980’s.

Brett has had the opportunity to know what it is like both as an Accountant in Public practice and in Commerce and he uses that knowledge and experience in his relationship with his clients.

Brett lives on the lower north shore of Sydney harbour with his wife Helen and now all four children have now flown from the coup.

Qualifications: Xero and MYOB certified Consultant, BAS Agent

Helen joined the Surry Partners Firm in 2000 as a consultant Accountant with experience in MYOB and Quicken. She is now a certified MYOB consultant and is our resident Trainer and Installer of MYOB, Quicken and Xero. Before the Firm she was an Accountant and Conveyancer in the legal industry for some 20 years. She is now a Director of North Shore Accountancy Pty Ltd.

She is married to Brett and lives on the lower north shore of Sydney harbour.

Qualifications: Bachelor Of Commerce in Accounting, Finance & Systems – University of NSW and is a Certified Practicing Accountant

Daina has worked as a senior accountant with the Firm since 2006.

Before joining the Firm, Daina has worked as an internal Accountant in the Construction, Supermarket, Electrical Wholesale and Credit Union industries.

She is fluent in Latvian.

Daina lives in the Sutherland Shire with her husband and 2 children.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and is a Chartered Accountant

Quynh has finished her degree at the University of New South Wales majoring in Accounting and Finance. She joined North Shore Accountancy in 2015 as a Trainee Accountant and is now an important part of the team. She has completed the CA program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Before joining the firm, Quynh had a couple of years of work experience with administration duties. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.
